Case Studies: If Villa were

This feature series saw us reimagine Aston Villa as an organisation in other sporting worlds.

These included NFL, NBA, F1 and Rugby Super League.

The media and content team created new names, new shirts, chose which players would flourish in that particular environment and, for F1, even offered the design of a super car in the claret and blue colours. 

But why?

Once again, it was about conceiving and executing content outside of the normal football parameters.

It’s so easy to get into a routine of similar content weekly, monthly and yearly.

So this was about creating an engaging series that fans would enjoy consuming – and also a series where they’d relish seeing the next instalment.

Again, the feature was very well received by supporters.
